General Overview:
The Sr. Marketing Analyst serves an important support role to the Marketing team, helping to further develop Marketing ’s critical thinking process. In addition to campaign effectiveness, promotion performance, and test analysis, the Sr. Marketing Analyst is responsible for proactively providing insights to the Marketing team based on daily tracking and analysis of operational data in a timely and actionable manner.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and manage Marketing analytical projects with a focus on promotional and media effectiveness across a broad range of media, including print, direct mail, email, TV, radio, and online.
Develop and execute campaign and promotion tracking, reporting, and analysis.
Manage marketing testing process including test design and cell sizing; definition of success metrics, test parameters, and variables; tracking and data acquisition; final results analysis, rollout recommendation and final executive summary.
Job Requirements:
3 – 5 years retail industry experience
Extensive experience in media analytics
Proven ability to translate analysis into insights that can further enhance marketing program effectiveness
Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
Very strong graphing/charting/information display skills
Experience extracting data and preparing it for analysis
MS Access, Brio and SQL / SQL Server BI Development Studio a plus

candidate must have engineering and statistical background with a passion for
collecting and analyzing SW quality and process metrics. The job requires a
demonstrated specialist in metrics, their use and misuse. The candidate must be
able to dig into the data from numerous sources and provide an assessment
and/or hypothesis on what is happening, what should be done next and/or provide
a recommendation on a solution. The candidate should have SW quality modeling
experience. Knowledge in SW development processes and some of the metrics used
to assess code quality is critical.
Must be comfortable going after a solution when none is clear by digging
into large set of data and exploring areas not recommended by others (thinking
outside the box).
The
ideal candidate provides a demonstrated ability to work with related
technologies and projects, and possess advanced analytical, communication and
Presentation skills. In this role, business-level & project management
understanding, judgment, and the ability to guide a teamÕs direction are
essential.

understanding, analyzing and modeling complex concepts is critical in his job,
being able to explain them to others at the level required to communicate the
