Position

 

The Biostatistics group at Gilead Sciences seeks an individual with exceptional understanding of clinical statistics and a genuine interest in Phase IV and other late development phase studies.

Responsibilities

á        Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to meet project deliverables and timelines for statistical data analysis and reporting

á        Statistical consultation on trial design, endpoint selection, sample size calculation, developing and executing statistical analysis plans

á        Utilize knowledge of Regulatory requirements and guidance documents to provide statistical advice with respect to creating and developing a clinical program

á        Provide data analysis and presentation methods to support publications/presentations

á        Work on multiple clinical trials/projects as well as other tasks as assigned by supervisor

 

Requirements

 

á        For Sr. Biostatistician: a MS degree in Statistics or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience, or a PhD degree in Statistics or equivalent and minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in the statistical analysis of biomedical data using SAS(r) software.  Experience in Phase IV studies and/or anti-viral studies are preferred but not required.

á        Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

á        Must have scientific programming capability with statistical software packages
